Back in August 2012, when I was on holiday in my home town of Salmon Arm, BC, I met a young girl named Amelia. She is such a bright young woman and we clicked instantly. She wanted to do something a little different for her session so I mentioned the fact that I had been dying to shoot on top of the mountain I used to go up all the time when I was a kid. She was a little apprehensive at first but faced her fear of heights and braved the top of the mountain. It was one of those “stand back and breathe in all the beauty of the world” type shoots. There were a few times where we all just sat there and quietly and listened; listened to the wind blowing through the trees, the birds, and the occasional chipmunk.
