Hi!  I don’t know about you, but I have so many memories of thumbing through dusty, musty scrapbooks and gathering around a blank wall at my Nana’s to watch old 8mm footage, while aunts and uncles narrated and laughed.  I think that’s why I’m in the business of story telling through portraits and film.  I believe everyone has an amazing story which deserves to be documented and preserved and I am inspired by people’s “happy”- I want to stop time for them in that place, wherever and whatever it is.

The joy and love this family shares is evident.  We spent a leisurely Saturday morning in their backyard, which is anything but ordinary, running, swinging, playing hide-and-seek, gardening, and giggling.

  1. OMG! There are SO many thing I like about this session. I love your processing choice – the mat finish gives it that sorta vintage, sorta country look. I’m wondering if you suggested the bright colors. They really pop.

I love the simplicity of the beginning of the session…looks like everyone just waking up and coming to life and becoming more active as the session rolls on and becomes more playful. Some cute, creative shots. Really like the one with the pitch fork.
