Do you ever get tired of the same old locations?  I know I do.  I’m always on the lookout for new places to photograph.  But that’s not always necessary as I discovered during this session.  For her senior portraits, Lauren was looking for a location that would fit well with her cowboy boots and hat first and foremost.  This is a location I use frequently because it’s so versatile.  For that outfit we used the back wall of the wooden structure on site.  (It was actually the restrooms but it worked perfect for our needs)  We then scouted out along a trail I had never been on before and found the most beautiful light surrounding budding trees and colorful foliage.  Spring time is my favorite time to photograph because the hills here are lush and green and the evening light is soft and golden.  This location ended up being my favorite newly rediscovered spot and this session is one of my favorites to date.
